About Soil & Water Stewardship Week
Each year, the Lower Platte North NRD offers Soil & Water Stewardship materials to area churches and schools at no cost. These materials include activity booklets for K-6 students, bookmarks, posters, and guides for educators and church leaders. Each year a new theme is chosen for Stewardship Week.
Order
In addition to being made available online, printed order forms are sent to all schools and churches in the district in February each year. If you would like to ensure that you are included on the mailing list, please contact Troy Thompson, Information/Education Specialist.
Sponsorship
Soil & Water Stewardship Week is sponsored by the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD), whose members are 3,000 local conservation districts that manage soil and water conservation in every community. NACD has selected an annual theme and developed educational materials for churches and schools each year since 1955.
